It shall be unlawful for any person to place, keep or maintain for human occupancy,
or to permit to be placed, kept or maintained for human occupancy, any trailer, mobile
home, camp car or trailer coach upon any lot, piece or parcel of land within the city,
except in a mobile home park, travel trailer park, recreational trailer park, or temporary
trailer park, as the same are defined in Division 13, Part 2 of the Health and Safety Code of the state, and amendments thereto, without first
obtaining a permit from the building inspector of the city as provided in this chapter.
